TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - U of A head football coach Rich Rodriguez announced Wednesday the program has hired Vincent Amey as defensive line coach.

The coaching staff is now complete with spring practices set to begin on Friday.

Amey was formerly an program management assistant with the Arizona football program and a strength and conditioning coach for three seasons.

Amey played defensive tackle for the Arizona State Sun Devils and was a member of the 1996 and 1997 Pac-12 Championship teams.  He was originally drafted to the NFL by the Oakland Raiders, played in NFL Europe and in the Arena League.
