3rd ranked Arizona basketball defeated Chico St. 91-53 on Sunday night at McKale Center in their final exhibition game of the season.  Freshman Brandon Randolph did not play, due to a concussion suffered in practice on Friday.  Head coach Sean Miller expects him to be back for Friday's game.

This is the 3rd straight season the Wildcats have seen Chico St.  Miller was highly complimentary of their squad, noting their performance against Stanford.  Allonzo Trier scored 22 points, and freshman Deandre Ayton posted his 2nd double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds.  He also added at the end of the post game press conference before getting up and walking out, "I was 8-8 from the free throw line too."

Senior Parker Jackson Cartwright returned from an ankle injury to run Arizona's offense, scoring 14 points, and 4 assists.  Emmanuel Akot got the start for the injured Randolph and Rawle Alkins (broken foot), and scored 6 points and 6 assists.

Arizona will open the regular season on Friday night at McKale Center against NAU.  Tip off is 6pm and can be seen on the Pac-12 Network.
