MARANA, Ariz. (AP) - Masters champion Bubba Watson was the only player from the top 10 remaining after two rounds of the Match Play Championship.

The No. 8 seed put away Jim Furyk in 22 holes. It's the first time since 1999 that only one top-10 seed was remaining after two rounds.

Scott Piercy hammered third-seeded Luke Donald 7-and-6.  Piercy won the first three holes, then holed out from 228 yards for an eagle on No. 5 and Donald never recovered.  Robert Garrigus beat No. 4 Louis Oosthuizen (WUHST'-hy-zehn) and fifth-seeded Justin Rose fell to Nicolas Colsaerts (KOHL'-sart).

Shane Lowry became the first No. 64 seed to make it to the third round. The Irishman who beat McIlroy had no trouble getting past Carl Pettersson.

But no such luck for Charles Howell III, who beat Tiger Woods in the first round.  He lost to Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano 6-and-5.
