TUCSON (KGUN9-TV)- Catalina Foothills has become a girls soccer powerhouse in the last few years.  The Falcons are working towards their 4th straight Division II state title this season.

To not get i#4 would be heartbreaking for seniors like Laura DeMers, who has been on varsity since her Freshman year.

"I've been around the program a lot and I witnessed those Seniors who lost that fourth championship and I cannot imagine that happening this year," said DeMers.

Charlie Kendrick is in his 10th season as the Falcon's Head Coach and even with a stacked resume, including six championships, he doesn't take much credit for the team's success.

"My impact with these kids is little, I only have three months to work with these kids so it's all about getting on the same page," added Kendrick.

The Falcons roster runs deep and their skill level is high, but these girls say it's really all about having fun and without that, they probably wouldn't win as many games.

Catalina Foothills will face Notre Dame Prep in the Semifinals on Wednesday, the winner of that game moves on to the Championship on Saturday.
