TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) 12-15-12 will be etched in the mind of Arizona Wildcats sports fans.
Arizona won the Gildan New Mexico bowl 49-48 on a game winning touchdown with 19 seconds left. The Basketball team beat then 5th ranked Florida on a shot by Mark Lyons with 7 seconds remaining.
Athletic Director Greg Byrne tweeted that the University is working on making t-shirts to commemorate the memorable day.
Arizona led for 26 seconds out of a combined 100 minutes of action, but won both games.
