KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) - A jury acquitted a man who was accused of murder in the death of a man who died after his motorcycle ran off a road and into an embankment near Dolan Springs.
The Kingman Daily Miner reports that a Mohave County jury on Friday found 46-year-old of Robert Felix Golden of Meadview not guilty of second-degree murder in the March 2011 death of Jerry Jennings.
The jury also acquitted Golden on an aggravated assault charge related to injuries incurred by Jerry Jennings wife, who was riding on the back of the motorcycle that day.
A charge of leaving the scene of an accident also came back with an acquittal.
Golden was seen repeatedly mouthing the words "thank you" to jurors after the verdict was read.
