Bodies of mother, daughter found in Phoenix home

PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say the bodies of a mother and her teenage daughter have been found inside a Phoenix home.
Phoenix police Sgt. Trent Crump says a resident of the home called 911 about 1 p.m. Monday after discovering the bodies.
Crump says detectives are investigating the deaths about four miles east of downtown as a homicide, but he could not yet provide many details.
Neighbors say they heard gunshots Sunday afternoon, but Crump could not confirm how the victims died.
Authorities also had not released the victims' names or identities.
An investigation was ongoing.
