PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a bicyclist is dead after being hit by two vehicles.
Police Sgt. Steve Martos says officers were called out Friday night to the area of 7th Street and Roeser. They found 47-year-old Angel Hernandez-Sotelo severely injured. He died at the scene.
Investigators told Phoenix television station KNXV that Hernandez-Sotelo was crossing the road mid-block on a bicycle at the time of the crash.
The driver of the first car parked at a liquor store nearby and ran away. The driver of the second car has yet to be identified.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact authorities.
