Glendale school reports $3K in water valves thefts
Web Producer: Taylor Higgins
PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say two water valves have been stolen from a charter school in Glendale.
Administrators from Desert Heights Charter School noticed the above-ground water valves were missing about 7:15 p.m. Friday and probably were taken overnight.
Glendale police say the water valves are valued at $3,000.
The school administration had no leads or video surveillance available for police.
The Arizona Republic says the charter school has about 740 pre-kindergarten through 11th grade students.
