CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) - Police say an assistant manager of a Chandler storage facility and her son have been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries of several units at the facility.
KPHO-TV reports that 54-year-old Julie Wood and 25-year-old Jacob Arledge were arrested this week following a tip from an ex-boyfriend of Woods. Court documents say that Woods told the ex-boyfriend that she was responsible for the burglaries.
Police say the mother-son team is suspected in five cases of burglary at a U-Haul building involving about $62,500 in merchandise.
Wood and Arledge were each booked on six counts of third-degree felony burglary and six counts of second-degree theft and control of stolen property.
It was unclear if either had attorneys.
