Phoenix police investigate apparent murder-suicide

PHOENIX (AP) - Police say an elderly couple is dead in what appears to be a murder-suicide at a senior living facility in northeast Phoenix.
Officers arrived at LifeStream Complete Senior Living Community around 3 p.m. Friday.
Police say an 87-year-old man and his 87-year-old wife were found fatally shot.
Their names haven't been released yet.
Police say the man shot his dementia-stricken wife of 66 years before turning his gun on himself.
The Arizona Republic reports that the woman had Alzheimer's Disease.
LifeStream was formally known as Arizona Baptist Retirement Centers before changing their name in January 2012.
LifeStream has four communities in Arizona with about 600 residents and 400 associates. The other communities are in Youngtown, Sun Ridge and Thunderbird.
