NWS issues flood advisory for Maricopa, Pinal County

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory for Maricopa County in south-central Arizona.
The flood advisory is for minor flooding of poor drainage areas in Glendale, east Mesa, Ahwatukee, Wickenburg, Tempe, Surprise, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Peoria, Paradise Valley, Chandler, Buckeye and other smaller cities in between.
Parts of northwestern Pinal County could also experience small stream flooding, according to the National Weather Service. This includes the cities of Florence, Coolidge and Casa Grande.
This advisory will remain in effect until 4:00 p.m. Saturday.
