2 men held on suspicion of burglary in Tucson
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) Pima County authorities say two men are being held on suspicion of burglary in Tucson.
County sheriff's officials said Wednesday that 18-year-old Ricardo Valdez and 25-year-old Rey Castillo were arrested after a short car chase with deputies.
A resident of the Camino Verde Estates area told deputies about a suspicious truck occupied by two men.
A deputy located the truck, pulled it over and reported seeing several items in the vehicle's bed and suspected they may have been stolen.
That's when the truck sped off and a chase began.
After several minutes, the truck crashed and rolled over.
The Arizona Daily Star says the two men got out and ran away, but were soon arrested and identified as Valdez and Castillo. It was unclear Thursday if either had a lawyer.
