PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say they've arrested a Chicago man in the baseball bat killing of his ex-wife's new boyfriend.
Sgt. Steve Martos says 29-year-old David Walker flew to Phoenix and arrived at his former wife's home at about 12:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Martos says Walker went in the back door, got a baseball bat from the garage and went into his wife's bedroom, where she was sleeping with her new boyfriend.
Walker allegedly hit 29-year-old Adam Moring repeatedly in the head with the bat. He also hit his wife and then forced her to drive with their two children to nearby Tempe.
Walker got out and ran away, and the woman called police. Martos says Walker was found in a hotel late Thursday and arrested on murder and other charges.
