Police identify man found dead in Tucson home
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man found dead in his west-side Tucson home and the case is being investigated as a homicide.
Tucson police say the body of 61-year-old Robert Pardee was located Monday night.
Police went to the home after a woman from out of state asked them to check on her father, saying she hadn't heard from him in several days.
It took police a few days to positively identify Pardee.
His death was ruled a homicide Wednesday after the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy.
Police say Pardee's pickup truck is missing and detectives believe the person who has it might also have valuable information on the case.
