The intention may have been innocent enough but administrators at a Glendale high school are taking a senior prank very seriously.

During a senior class assembly at Copper Canyon High School as the principal was speaking, students say all of a sudden the image on the projector changed to a photo of naked man.

They suspect another student likely used an app on their cell phone to flash a picture they pulled off the internet.

Witnesses say the photo disappeared after about 30-seconds.

“It was ridiculous, it’s inappropriate, said one senior who was sitting in on the assembly.

The class of about 300 was told by administrators that if found the prankster would not be allowed to walk in graduation as part of their punishment.

Since there are still minors in the class and it was a pornographic image students say administrators took it very seriously calling parents and sending home a letter to inform them of the incident.

"I’m not even gonna lie, I laughed at first but now I think it was not the thing to do. Not everyone is 18 so seeing it is something not everyone may have found funny,"  said another senior who saw the photo.

ABC15 is waiting to hear back from the school district for further comment.
