NEWTOWN, Conn. (KGUN9-TV) - Even though it is bitterly cold in Newtown, simple acts of kindness are warming hearts.
Ben's Bells volunteers are busily getting ready to commit kindness today by hanging 1000 bells in a show of solidarity and support.
As Tucsonans, we know how it feels to live through a horrible event, and so do the people of Newtown. Despite that, the neighbors in this small town are welcoming and friendly.
Maybe it's because they've been shown the same kindness from total strangers, the people who give and who want nothing in return. It is amazing to see just about everywhere you go.
All over the small town, there are examples of love and support sent here from all over the world.
And those acts of kindness are the ones that will ultimately live on. Love triumphs and Newtown will find hope as it moves toward healing.
