SAN LUIS, Ariz.(KGUN9-TV) - San Luis Customs and Border Protection officers stopped a Phoenix man from smuggling nearly 42 pounds of cocaine into the United States, according to San Luis CBP.

Officers and a detection canine found sixteen packages of cocaine on March 18 in the pickup truck of Martin De La Torre Dominguez, 46. The drugs are valued at more than $387,000. 

De La Torre was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations. The drugs and vehicle were seized.
