AZ Game and Fish to stock lakes with catfish

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV)- Urban lakes in Tucson and Phoenix will soon be stocked with new catfish, according to the Arizona Game and Fish Department.
The AZGFD will conduct its first spring stocking of channel catfish Thursday, March 21. The two-pound Arkansas catfish will be transported from a holding truck into the 20 Urban Fishing Program lakes through a large tube.
The Urban Fishing Program offers fishing opportunities for anglers who are unable to travel to state waters.
