TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Southwest Gas and fire crews responded to a two-inch gas line break Tuesday morning.
Capt. Barrett Baker with the Tucson Fire Department says a gas line near Sarnoff Drive and Bowline Road broke just after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
Baker says firefighters evacuated four people from two homes in the area.
The neighborhood was closed off while the broken line was secured.
Tucson Police responded to assist with traffic, and additional fire crews responded to perform air monitoring to determine how much gas was in the area around the break.
Southwest Gas responded and secured the broken line.
Ten units and 28 firefighters were dispatched to help in the efforts.
