Pilot hospitalized after crash landing in Gila Bend

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A pilot who took off from Tucson is in the hospital after a crash landing in Gila Bend.
Ian Gregor, public affairs manager for the FAA Pacific Region says the pilot of a Cessna 172 ran off the side of a runway in while landing and came to rest on its nose.
The crash took place at around 11:40 a.m. Sunday and the pilot was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, Gregor said.
