Tucson bikers host fundraiser for veteran housing facility

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson's biker community will host the "2nd Annual Welcome Home Poker Run" to raise money for Esperanza En Escalante.
Esperanza En Escalante, which means "Hope on Escalante" is home to veterans and their families, including U.S. Navy veteran Chris Amos who recently suffered a stroke.
The care facility provides temporary living quarters and vocational training for veterans returning from combat to assist with their transition to civilian life.
Registration for the run begins at 9:00 a.m. at AMVETS Post 770, 3015 South Kinney Road, and the run begins at 10:00 a.m.
