TPD officer involved in crash

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A Tucson Police Officer was involved in an accident Thursday at Flowing Wells and Miracle Mile.
Sgt. Chris Widmer with TPD tells KGUN9 that the patrol officer was responding to a call in his patrol vehicle.
The officer was traveling southbound on Flowing Wells, traveling through the intersection with lights and sirens on, and a 2008 BMW t-boned the officer on the right hand side.
The BMW was carrying two adults. The driver is a 32-year-old female.
No injuries were reported.
The driver was charged with failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
