Web Producer: Ina Ronquillo
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A month after Kimmy the Chihuahua was found in a midtown apartment Dumpster, she is ready for adoption.
A local vending company worker found Oscar and took him to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona on January 30.
Kennedy was found abandoned in a trash can at Kennedy Park on February 6.
Kimmy was the third dog found who was thrown away February 7.
According to Pima Animal Care, Kimmy has been nursed back to health, spayed and ready to find a loving home.
Leaving an animal in a dumpster is criminal as well as cruel, says Animal Cruelty Investigator Steve Montano.
Any unwanted dog can be taken to the Pima Animal Care Shelter located at 4000 North Silverbell Road.
