PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a 4-month-baby was found unhurt in an apartment bedroom where a man and a woman were found shot to death, both apparently homicide victims.
Officer James Holmes says police have tentatively identified one victim as a 20-year-old woman and say the other victim was a man apparently 20 to 30 years old.
Holmes says officers reporting to a call of shots fired entered the apartment early Wednesday morning when they got no response to knocks and yelling.
Holmes says there's evidence that the shootings were a double homicide but he declined to elaborate.
The baby has been turned over to Child Protective Services.
