South Tucson Police identify homicide victim, suspects still at-large

SOUTH TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - South Tucson Police have identified 38-year-old Azar Ian Rust as the victim in a homicide case that happened on Feb. 20.
South Tucson detectives have an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Raul Valdez Garcia. He is described as a Native American/Hispanic man, 6 feet tall, 230 pounds and has multiple tattoos on his neck and body.
The shooter in the case is identified as "Oscar" and he is also still at-large.
Anyone with knowledge about the whereabouts of Garcia and/or "Oscar" is urged to contact police or 88-CRIME.
The shooting took place around 6:50 p.m., Feb 20 in the 2000 block of South 6th Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene, officers located Rust who was suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
