Arias to face questions from trial jurors

PHOENIX (AP) - Jodi Arias says she chose to take the witness stand in her felony murder trial, despite knowing that prosecutors would chip away at her numerous lies to police and her efforts to cover her tracks to avoid being caught in the killing of her lover.
She'll testify for the 15th day on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old Arias is charged in the June 2008 killing of Travis Alexander in his Mesa home. She has said the 30-year-old Alexander attacked her and that she killed him in self-defense. She also told police masked intruders killed him, and also denied any involvement whatsoever.
Once Arias concludes her testimony, jurors can pose questions to her via written notes provided to the judge, something allowed in Arizona criminal cases.
Arias faces the death penalty if convicted.
