PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a woman has died after being struck by a car while she was walking on a sidewalk.
Sgt. Trent Crump says the unidentified 41-year-old victim died early Monday.
She was struck Sunday by what's described as a red 1970s Fiat convertible with a black convertible top.
According to police, the vehicle likely has extensive damage to the area of the passenger side window.
Witnesses describe the driver as a while male in his 40s with short hair.
