Douglas Police Officers found what they describe to be a pool of blood in the 1400 block of 20th street in Douglas, Arizona.

The officers have no leads on why there was a pool of blood near a residence.

Officers called the Arizona Department of Corrections K-9 unit for assistance to follow a trail of the blood.

The Southeast Arizona Medical Center and Bisbee hospital were then called to identify anyone with possible injuries, maybe arriving overnight. Neither healthcare could identify any patients with such symptoms.

Evidence has been gathered by the officers and are still looking for victims to match the scene.

Anyone with information is being asked to call the Douglas Police Department at 520-417-7515.
