Family of four displaced after house fire

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Four people have been displaced following a house fire on Wednesday morning.
Capt. Barrett Baker with Tucson Fire tells KGUN9 that a home suffered heavy smoke and fire damage in the 8000 block of East Hayne St.
Three people were home when the fire started but were able to get out safely.
When firefighters arrived, they found flames coming out of a bedroom window. A firefighter was able to safely remove 7 exotic birds from the home during the search.
Red Cross responded to the scene to assist the family.
The cause of the fire has been ruled accidental and the damage is estimated at $60,000.
