TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies rescued three hikers who got lost on in the Santa Catalina Mountains Saturday.
Deputies were called to a rescue near Mount Kimball Saturday night after three hikers lost the trail due to snow, according to Tom Peine with the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
DPS Air Rescue Tucson responded to assist with the rescue. After locating the hikers, the Air Rescue team dropped off a medic who reached the hikers on foot, Peine said.
The medic helped the hikers walk back to the landing zone where the hikers were flown out.
