TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - It's a Tucson treasure we know and love -- La Fiesta de Los Vaqueros Rodeo Parade.
Hundreds of eager spectators with their cowboy hats in tow lined the streets of Tucson this morning, all ready to be entertained at this year's parade.
"It's exciting," says Marshall Stewart with the Rodeo Parade Committee. "We're having a true celebration of the southwest."
There was dancing and music and a lasso here and there, all key components of a typical rodeo celebration for everyone.
The crowd was filled with bundled up Tucsonans keeping warm in windy weather.
And proud parents, watching their son or daughter take part in all the fun.
The parade represents all parts of Tucson and shows off the qualities that make our city great.
And a celebration that so many were happy to take part in.
