Fire tears through auto repair shop

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Fire crews battled a major fire at an auto repair shop in the 800 block of West Grant Road that broke out late Wednesday night.
Cpt. Barrett Baker tells 9 On Your Side that the fire started inside a Precision Auto Repair shop.
The first 911 calls came in just before midnight. Fire crews got to the scene within three minutes of the calls and reported heavy black smoke coming from the building.
Fifteen units and more than 40 firefighters were dispatched to the scene. No firefighters were injured during the operation.
Baker said that the cause and origin of the fire are under investigation with no determination about the a damage estimate made yet.
