TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) – Michaels craft stores will celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week by giving away $100,000 in gift cards this weekend.
Michaels craft stores will have their huge gift card giveaway at more than 1,090 locations in the United States and Canada on Sunday, Feb.17 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to a news release.
“We’ve heard wonderful stories from our customers and store associates about how inspired they were by the giveaway last year,” Michaels Chief Marketing Officer Paula Puleo said.
This is the second year that the store will be “crafting it forward.” It is a week long event during Random Acts of Kindness Week, Feb. 11 through Feb.17.
Gift card winners are encouraged to “craft it forward,” meaning to exhibit a random act of kindness and share their good will on the Michaels Facebook page, or by sending it to Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #RAOKDIY.
The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation is an international nonprofit organization that formed Random Acts of Kindness Day.
