Presidents' Day pushes back waste services

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson should expect a delay in waste services the week of Presidents' Day.
All residential and commercial customers trash and recycling will not be collected on Monday, Feb. 18 in honor of the holiday, according to Cristina Polsgrove with Tucson Environmental Services. Trash of residential and commercial customers will be collected a day late during this week.
The Los Reales Landfill will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
City offices will be closed for Presidents' Day but customers can leave messages for Environmental Services customer service line at 520-791-3171 or submit a service request at www.tucsonaz.gov/edu. All will be contacted the next business day.
Customer service will be available on Feb. 23 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
