PHOENIX (AP) - An accident has closed part of Interstate 10 in central Phoenix and the closure is expected to last well into the Wednesday morning commute due to a lengthy cleanup.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says a tractor-trailer rollover has closed westbound I-10 at the so-called "Mini-Stack" interchange with Loop 202 and State Route 51.
ADOT says drivers taking westbound I-10 into or through downtown Phoenix should exit before the crash site by taking either Interstate 17 or State Route 143.
Drivers who reach the crash site are being detoured onto either Loop 202 or State Route 51.
The Department of Public Safety says the big rig was carrying coffee creamer and that the accident caused fuel to leak onto the roadway.
According to DPS, the driver suffered minor injuries.
