Police identify man found dead inside car

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man found hunched over in his vehicle in an east side neighborhood.
Sgt. Maria Hawke tells KGUN9 that 24-year-old Antonio Alvarez was found dead in a car in the 5400 block of East Burns Street about 7 a.m. Tuesday.
The man inside the vehicle had obvious signs of trauma, said Hawke, and police believe the trauma was not self-inflicted.
Detectives believe the incident happened either in the late evening of February 11or the early morning of February 12.
Anyone with information about the circumstances of his death is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
