Rural/Metro Fire continues to battle flames at eastside home

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Rural/Metro firefighters are still on scene of a working residential fire on the eastside.
Firefighters continue to battle flames from a home in the 11,000 block of East St. James Road, according to Lee Mayes with the Rural/Metro Fire Department.
Mayes tells KGUN9 that the fire started just after 7:00 p.m. Monday.
Firefighters assisted the sole occupant of the home out of the residence. The occupant did not suffer any injuries, according to Mayes.
