TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Friday's winter weather advisory will remain in effect throughout Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service, the winter weather advisory will remain in effect until 5:00 p.m.
Hazardous travel conditions will continue to plague southern Arizona throughout the day, especially for motorists traveling to higher elevations above 4,000 feet. Residents in the mountains and in lower elevations east of Tucson can also expect gusty winds between 20 and 30 mph throughout the day.
Showers will make their way to the east, but cities in eastern Cochise County could continue to see snow flurries or light sprinkles throughout the afternoon.
Skies are expected to clear Saturday night, allowing colder temperatures to move in. Overnight lows could dip to 30 degrees.
Chief Meteorologist Aaron Bracket will have more on the weather conditions you can expect throughout the night and into Sunday morning coming up at 5:00 p.m. Stay with us.
