Pet adoption special for Valentine's Day

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV)- Pima Animal Care Center will have a $14 pet adoption special in celebration of Valentine's Day.
The "Be Mine" adoption special will take place from Feb. 11 through Feb. 17 at the adoption center on 4000 N. Silverbell Road.
The $14 fee covers vaccines, micro-chipping and spaying or neutering. There is an additional dog licensing fee of $15 for dogs over three months old.
"Valentine's Day is one day devoted to love, but these animals will be able to provide love 365 days a year," said Kim Janes, manager of Pima Animal Care Center. "You're not only gaining a loyal companion, but you're also giving the ultimate gift of the heart: saving a life."
Pima Animal Care Center is open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
