TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) – Pima County detectives continue to search for a man who spent $20,000 in a 10-hour time span using stolen credit cards.

According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect supposedly stole two credit cards from an LA Fitness gym member's locker.

The incident occurred just before 10 a.m. on December 30, 2012, and the theft was discovered and reported that day.

His first purchase was at a Starbuck’s, followed by a shopping spree which included the purchase of electronics, expensive jewelry and men’s underwear at a local Macy’s. His purchases ended that night at an El Charro restaurant where he bought the most expensive shots on the menu.

The man was traced through security cameras at a Chipotle restaurant and Best Buy electronics store. He was described as a 6-foot-tall, 220 pound Caucasian male in his mid-forties with short, receding salt and pepper hair.

He appears to also frequent other Tucson LA Fitness gym locations, as well as locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale, police said.

Anyone with information on the suspect is encouraged to call 911, 88-CRIME or Detective Laura Gil at (520) 351-6634.
