TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Police are asking for help from the public in identifying a potential suspect from a shooting at a party on January 26.
Sgt. Maria Hawke tells KGUN9 that detectives have been working to identify the suspect who fired a gun into the air while attending a large party held at the Standard Apartments located at 1800 North Stone Avenue.
Investigators believe that approximately 1000 people were attending the party when the shots were fired, said Hakwe.
No injuries were reported as a result of the gunfire.
Some party goers were able to obtain video footage of the party as well as of an individual, who was possibly involved in the firing of several shots into the air.
At least one video was later posted to the social media website YouTube. In reviewing the video footage, investigators have been able to capture a still image of the possible shooter, said Hawke.
The image reflects a tattoo on the side of a male subject’s neck.
Investigators are asking anyone having information about the individual with this particular tattoo to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
