TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Tucson Police Department has released a large report detailing how one officer photographed and videotaped herself performing provocative acts in her police uniform.
According to a report released by TPD Monday, Lt. Diana Lopez was demoted to sergeant following an internal investigation that revealed she used her personal cell phone to photograph and videotape herself performing sexually explicit acts.
The report also claims Lopez sent the photos and videos to a subordinate officer, with whom she had a relationship.
That officer then passed the videos and photos around to other officers in the department, according to the report.
In the report, Assistant Chief Robinson writes, "Lt. Lopez used extremely poor judgement in sending these images undermining her credibility as a commander. "
