TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson police are investigating an early morning stabbing that happened on the west-side Saturday morning.
Just before 6:00 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 700 block of west Calle Adelanto where they found a man suffering from several stab wounds, according to Sgt. Chris Widmer with the Tucson Police Department.
Widmer says emergency crews took him to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but he is expected to be okay.
Investigators say witnesses told officers who stabbed the victim, Widmer says. It is believed that the victim knows the person who stabbed him.
