Man escapes from Border Patrol custody

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Authorities are searching for a 23-year-old Mexican man who escaped from Border Patrol custody Wednesday night.
Officials with Customs and Border Protection tell KGUN9 that Rafael Zenteno-Torres was in custody near Swan Road and Golf Links Road when he escaped at about 9 p.m.
An employee with a contracted company that handles transportation alerted Border Patrol agents that Zenteno-Torres had escaped and Border Patrol is now working with local and federal authorities to find him.
Anyone with information on his location is asked to call Border Patrol's toll free number 1-877-872-7435 or 88-CRIME.
