Tucson Police hiring officer recruits

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Tucson Police Department announced Wednesday that they are beginning the process to hire new officers.
Sgt. Maria Hawke with TPD tells KGUN9 that the application process will open on Friday, Feb. 1 and applications will only be accepted until Feb. 24.
The minimum requirements are:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- U.S. Citizen
- At least 21 years of age by academy graduation date (expected to be November 8, 2012)
- No felony convictions or drug abuse
