Web Producer: Ina Ronquillo
SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Sierra Vista Police have arrested and charged 42-year-old Samantha McCray with fraudulent schemes.
Back in August 2012, police were alerted to possible fraudulent loans being issued at a local cash advance business.
Through their investigation, detectives determined McCray, formally Samantha DeCruise, and another employee would create fake documents, issue cash loans and keep the money for themselves.
According to Scott Bogrstadt with Sierra Vista Police, there were approximately 15 loans issued in varying amounts from $400-$500.
The other employee involved in this case has not been charged yet.
This case is being sent to the Cochise County Grand Jury for possible indictment.
