Man arrested after car burglary

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - One man was arrested after someone witnessed him trying to steal a vehicle.
A resident of the Arcadia Park Apartments, 250 North Arcadia Avenue, called Tucson police just before 3:30 a.m. Tuesday to report that two men were attempting to break into a pickup truck in the parking lot, according to a press release from the Tucson Police Department.
Officers arrived on scene and found one man in the driver seat of the pickup truck, trying to start the engine, the release said.
The initial investigation revealed that the man, 40-year-old Ronald Black, broke into the vehicle and damaged the ignition while trying to steal the car, according to the release.
Black was charged with one count of third-degree burglary, one count of theft of means of transportation and one count of possession of burglary tools.
The other man that was seen trying to break into the pickup truck was not located.
