POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) - A relative of an Idaho man suffering from Alzheimer's disease says he went missing in Arizona, where he is spending the winter.
Laurence "Jack" Doering was last seen Thursday in a shopping center near Yuma driving a tan and gray 2002 Chevrolet Suburban with Idaho plates.
The 82-year-old Doering's daughter-in-law, Holly Doering, says the family believes he may be trying to drive back to Blackfoot.
The Idaho State Journal reports Doering and his wife went to get haircuts on Thursday. Holly Doering says he does not usually drive but somehow got the keys to the car and left the shopping center.
The family asks that anyone who sees the 6-foot-1, 170-pound man call authorities.
