TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The City of Tucson fired the deputy director of the Tucson Convention Center Friday after city officials found numerous bookings at the TCC were handled poorly and cost the city hundreds of thousands of dollars.
A spokesman with the city confirmed the firing and released a document showing the mismanagement that Deputy Director Tommy Obermaier was responsible for.
The document shows multiple actions Obermaier took that in the city's words he "should have known would result in disciplinary action."
